After a slightly more critical season’s start than expected, Ferrari was able to make up for lost time and repeat the successes of the previous years. The 2003 car was the F2003-GA (GA stood for Gianni Agnelli, president of Fiat, who passed away on January 24, 2003), which took the concepts studied with the 2002 F2002 to the extreme. Thanks to six wins and several placings, Michael Schumacher managed to get the better of Raikkonen with McLaren-Mercedes and Montoya with Williams-BMW. Ferrari also took the constructors' title.
