The Super Sport Pininfarina was a high performance spider built on the experimental Alfa Romeo 3500 chassis. The line, very refined from an aerodynamic point of view, featured a bonnet with pronounced lines, with a rather low and elongated grille. The windshield was elongated and enveloping, and the line of the sides prefigured that of the Duetto. The car was presented at the 1959 Geneva Motor Show.
