At the end of the summer of 1960, Fiat introduced the D version of the 600, which featured changes to aesthetics and mechanics. There was a wider grille on the bonnet. The displacement of the engine (type 100D000) was increased to 767cc and the performance was improved. The D, which was also produced in the Multipla and Taxi versions, remained available until 1969.
