In 2009 Aston Martin began to offer exclusive models in a very limited series, sometimes surrounded by an aura of mister. The One-77 was presented on the occasion of the elegance contest at Villa d’Este in April 2009. It echoed the general architecture of the DBS, with the large V12 engine mounted at the front; the chassis was made of carbon fiber. The head of design, Marek Reichman had taken the brand's stylistic elements to the extreme, falling into some exaggerations that did not appeal to everyone. The car was produced in only 77 examples.
