The Lola T610 was a development of the 1981 T600 for the new Group C regulation in force since 1982. Designed by Broadley, it differed from the T600 for a different chassis design and for an even more aerodynamic body. The T610 could accommodate the Cosworth 3.9 V8 engine and other engines including turbo. Cosworth’s discontinuation of technical development partially halted the T610’s career at the end of 1982, but some examples continued to run in subsequent years.
