With its rounded shapes and low profile the VW Karmann Ghia had everything to seduce. The first car of its kind to combine a large series Volkswagen mechanics, a handcrafted construction (Karmann) and a high tailoring line (Ghia), it had a long career, which went from 1955 to 1974. The engine was the 4-cylinder of the Beetle, which had various evolutions over the years.
