In 1954, parallel to the development of the 150S, a 2-liter engine, also derived from the 4C of Formula 2, of two years earlier, was designed. The goal was to create a 2000 sport that could replace the A6 GCS. The car was produced since 1957 and was renamed 200SI (S.I. for International Sport) and had a long career, until 1963, with many successes in the 2 liter class and with 31 overall victories. 28 units were built.
