The Iso is a brand with a rather curious history: from the production of refrigerators, this brand made its debut in the automotive sector with the Isetta, a kind of Smart ante litteram, to then throw itself into the difficult GT market in the sixties, using units V8 of external production. The Fidia (also known as S4), introduced in 1967, was the first and only attempt to produce a high-performance four-door. Designed by Giugiaro (Ghia), it was the only ISO not to receive a Bertone bodywork. From 1973 Ford engines replaced the Chevrolets. The car went out of production in 1974 after just under 200 units manufactured.
