In 1984, the Jeep Limited changed its name and became Grand Wagoneer. In 1986 it received a new grille and the passenger compartment was redesigned to become more practical and comfortable, with a new dashboard and more ergonomic seats. After Chrysler's purchase of the Jeep AMC in March 1987, Wagoneer continued its career almost unchanged. It is now a classic of American production of the eighties.
