With its distinctive nose design, the Peugeot D4 was an extremely versatile vehicle. Equipped with the 203 engine, it was widely used in the fifties and sixties and had the Citroen Type H as its main competitor. The D4 had front-wheel drive, a new solution for Peugeot, which applied it for the first time to a car only with the much later 204.
