NOREV - GLAS - V8 2600 1967

On the strength of its successes in the micro car segment, the German manufacturer Glas developed a complete vehicle range in record time. Glas decided to invest also in the production of luxury GT cars, with a brand new product. The Glas 2600, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1965, received a new 2.6-liter V8 engine, a combination of two 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engines, mounted on the Glas 1304 and 1300GT. As for the other Glass, the bodywork was designed by Pietro Frua. In the spring of 1967, the Glas 2600 received the BMW 3000 engine, remaining in production until 1968.
