For 1974, the Alpine A110 1600S continued its commercial career and was transformed into 1600 SC (carburetors) and 1600 SI (injection for certain markets). At one point the car was also available directly delivered in Group 3 configuration for competitions. The engine was the 1605cc of the R17 TS which gave 127 horsepower at 6600 rpm, a couple more than the 1600S which mounted the 1565cc of the R16 TS.
