In the absence of a truly sporty version in the sedan range, the Jaguar has staked everything on the F-Pace SUV. Jaguar has made significant efforts to make this over two-ton car agile. Perhaps acceleration and other behaviors may be less brilliant than those of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo or Stelvio Quadrifoglio, but the Jaguar F-Pace is certainly not short of horses, with the SVR version having 550. Braking and cornering behavior is safe and the suspension, although perhaps too soft, behaves correctly. The 5-liter V8 compressor engine is capable of transmitting a "sporty" sound that on other SUVs is simply not imaginable.
