The elegant spider built on the Maserati A6G-54 chassis was an example of a project for a road car. The A6G-54 Spider Zagato was unveiled at the 1955 Geneva Motor Show, and aroused the interest of Argentine President Juan Domingo Peron. Despite the initial program, that model was not followed by a series production and the car, after having changed hands several times, is now often the protagonist of the contests of elegance.
