Produced from 1951 to 1954, the Delahaye 235 sought to update the 135/175 mechanics with more current bodies, mostly designed by Charbonneaux, although there was no lack of other designers. Only 84 cars were assembled; production was penalized by the high price, more than double that of the Jaguar XK.
