The Dacia 1300 was marketed from August 1969. Directly derived from the Renault 12, which came out at the same time, the 1300 was equipped with 4-cylinder 1289cc and 54hp. The base of the 1300 was destined to evolve over the years, remaining in production, with subsequent modifications and updates, until the mid-2000s. The 1300 model remained in production until 1981, when it was replaced by the 1310.
