Introduced in 1969, the Volga M24 was essentially based on the mechanics of the previous M21 and M22 (2445cc four cylinders engine), but with a more modern line, which recalled certain American styles. Interestingly, the Volga was the first Russian producer of a certain level after the war after the rather primitive Pobieda.
