The P100 was the last model of this brand founded by Carl Borgward. Introduced in 1959, the P100 was a large sedan equipped with a 2240cc 6-cylinder engine, air suspension, brake booster and automatic transmission as an option. Not too powerful (about 100 horsepower), the P100 went out of production in 1962 with 2587 units built. However, production continued in Mexico, which became a good source for spare parts.
