The Maserati Sebring was a particularly sporty variant of the 3500 GT but with a 10cm shorter chassis. To lighten the car, the bodywork designed by Vignale in Turin received an aluminum engine hood. Aesthetically evolved year after year, the Sebring also had power increases to the 3485cc 6-cylinder engine. From 1961 to 1969 about 450 units were produced.
