SPARK-MODEL - BRM - F1 P261 N 19 MONACO GP 1966 BOB BONDURANT

Bernard White's Chamaco Collect team purchased two ex-factory BRM P261s for 1966, complete with 2000cc V8 engines. White's cousin, Vic Wilson, began the season by finishing fourth in Syracuse (a race not valid for the F1 world championship). Bob Bondurant was then called to drive the car at the Monaco GP finishing fourth, and had the opportunity to drive the P261 on four other occasions, finishing seventh at Monza. Bondurant was then replaced by Innes Ireland, who finished fourth at Oulton Park (Gold Cup, non-championship race) and had to retire at the US and Mexican GPs, the last two of his F1 career.
