The third generation of the Camaro was presented in 1981. With this series, Chevrolet aimed at a compromise solution between comfort and performance, at least initially. From 1982 to 1985, the range also included a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that was anything but sporty. More seductive were the other versions equipped with 6 and 8 cylinder engines. It was the last thousandths that gave the Camaro back its sporting dignity: in 1992, the last year of production, the range saw the presence of several interesting engines, including the 5733cc V8 and 248 HP of the Z28.
