Practicing alternation without too much imagination, Aston Martin reintroduced the name Vanquish to replace the DB S, which in turn had replaced the ... Vanquish. The model ushered in the fourth generation of the VH platform, after the Vantage, the DBS and the Rapide. The lower-placed V12 engine delivered 565 horsepower. The convertible version (Volante) was presented in June 2013, one year after the coupe. Just 1001 units of the Volante were produced. In March 2017 the Volante was replaced with the Volante S, coming with the same features as the Vanquish S.
