Evolution of the third generation, the fourth generation of the Ford Mustang was produced from 1994. The release of the model was accompanied by criticisms due to the lack of grit of the line, which was partially remedied with the restyling of 1999. After the restyling the engines were also modified more powerful and sporty, such as the 3.8-liter V6 and 190 horsepower or a new 4.6-liter 32-valve V8 that developed from 260 to 390 horsepower according to the versions: GT, Bullit (2001), Mach1 (2003) or SVT Cobra. The most sought-after version is now the 2000 Cobra R, lightened, with a 5.4-liter engine, 6-speed Tremec gearbox and 385 horsepower, produced in only 385 units. The Mustang Mk.IV was built until 2004.
