Introduced in 1953, the Daimler Conquest had a fairly low cost (at least by brand standards). Shorter and lighter than the Consort it was to replace, the Conquest had a 2433cc inline 6-cylinder engine that gave around 75 horsepower. Production ceased in 1956 with 4,568 units built.
