The Peugeot 208 launched in 2012 was known for good build quality and a wide choice of petrol or diesel engines. In the range there was room for a GTI quite worthy of this acronym, with the 1600cc THP 200 horsepower engine. Restored in May 2015, this family of 208 went out of production in 2019.
