In September 1971 coachbuilder Chapron, specialized in the transformation of Citroens, launched a SM cabriolet, called the Mylord. The characteristics of the car mirrored those of the coupé: wheelbase and mechanics were not changed. The top opened electrically and the structure had been reinforced to compensate for the loss of stiffness due to the cut of the roof. Seven units were produced.
