The Sunbeam MkIII, introduced in 1954, was an evolution of the 90 with a number of improvements, including optional overdrive, sports wheels and some slight cosmetic changes. Produced in the sedan and drophead coupé configuration (until October 1955), it had the classic 2267cc 4-cylinder. The MkIIIS had even more accessories. Production of the MkIII and MkIIIS ceased in 1957 with approximately 2250 units built.
