The P1800 began its career in 1961 with a somewhat uprated version of Amazon's 1778cc engine. But this pleasant sports car evolved over time, with increasingly high-performance engines (1800S series from 1964 to 1968, 1800E from 1969 to 1971). The car also gained popularity thanks to the television series “The saint”, beu the production had really wanted… a Jaguar E-Type. From 1971 to 1973 the P1800 was also available in a family version (1800ES), with a 1958cc engine.
