The Tyrrell 007 was designed for the 1974 F1 world championship. Four examples were built in 1974, equipped with the traditional Cosworth V8 engine and Hewland gearbox. Two more chassis were prepared in 1975 and the car continued to race for another couple of seasons, even in the hands of private teams.
