This Taunus, born just before the Second World War to replace the Eifel, was the first Ford entirely developed by the German Ford in Cologne. In 1948 it went back into production until 1952. The car was inspired by the shape of the Lincoln Zephyr without sharing, however, the harmony of proportions.
