The famous American Pikes Peak hillclimb has a very long and prestigious history, which began in 1915. The 2010 edition saw the victory of Suzuki Sport owner Nobuhiro Tajima, the fourth success in a row, obtained in the "Unlimited" category . In 2010, however, Tajima failed to break the record of 10'01 "40, set in 2007. The Suzuki SX4 used in 2010 was a prototype equipped with large aerodynamic appendages. With a weight of 850kg, the Suzuki was powered by an engine of nearly 1000hp.
