Introduced in 1971, the Ligier JS2 was an elegant GT with aluminum chassis and fiberglass bodywork. The engine was the 3-liter Maserati that Citroen had mounted on the SM, placed in a central position. The road JS2 enjoyed a fair amount of luck and around a hundred were built until 1977.
