It was under the name of Matra International that the Tyrrell Racing Organization presented itself for the 1968 Formula 1 season. Bernard Boyer, starting from the Cosworth-powered MS9, in turn derived from the MS7, designed the MS10, with which Beltoise, Stewart and Servoz-Gavin. Stewart won in the Netherlands and the United States, while Servoz-Gavin was second in Monza. Beltoise, who mainly piloted the MS11 of the factory team, was fifth in Spain. Ken Tyrrell's team finished third among manufacturers, behind Lotus and McLaren.
