For the 1975 season, the Ensign team commissioned David Baldwin to design a new car. With a new sponsor, Ensign could count on a better budget than in 1973-1974, and the new N175 achieved good results, including a sixth place in Germany with Van Lennep. A disagreement between the team and its financiers allowed them to acquire the 1975 material at the end of the season, and in 1976 the N175 was registered as Boro, while the Ensign was forced to design a new car.
