The model name comes from the homonymous car from the 1950s and was prefigured by the 2012 Touring Superleggera Disco Volante concept car. The steel frame and mechanics derive from those of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. The model is equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 engine mounted frontally that delivers 450 HP of power and 480 Nm of torque. The traction is rear and the gearbox is a six-speed sequential. The transmission is transaxle with limited slip differential while the suspensions, which are in aluminum, are independent with a quadrilateral.
