In 1966 Ferrari requested two special cars from Pininfarina, to satisfy two very special customers, Gianni Agnelli and Luigi Chinetti. The 365P's bodywork had the same styling as the 1965 Dino Prototipo, from which the 1967 production car was also derived. The 365P was unveiled at the 1966 Paris Motor Show.
